Having plain iodized salt (sodium chloride) is essential for the function of the thyroid. Never heard of salt, cancer, but no more than 2300mg per day.
Have tryed to replace salt? / You say it is the taste of the ordinary? Try, if you have high blood pressure is not great for Salt if you like all the food we eat enough salt was added.
